Find Parking in Central Avenue Using ParkingSpotter.com

As you might have guessed, Central Avenue in Phoenix is named after one of the city’s oldest streets.  Center Street opened over a century ago, boasting the The Valley’s first school, which was later replaced by the Hotel San Carlos.  The area is now populated with skyscrapers and businesses.  As one of The Grand Canyon State’s most important financial centers parking in Central Avenue Phoenix can be difficult.

The business developments began in the 1960s with the Phoenix Corporate Center, Phoenix City Square, the Phoenix Financial Center, and Landmark on Central.  Developments continued until the 1990s, making parking in Central Avenue, especially for business people, increasingly difficult.  In 2000, the city approved transportation improvements with the Transit 2000 Regional Transportation Plan; this plan outlined the development of a METRO Light Rail.  The rail has seven stops along Central Ave, which should alleviate some of the parking in Central Avenue Phoenix congestion.

In addition to providing more public transportation to residents, the METRO Light Rail arguably worsened parking in Central Avenue Phoenix.  The projected centralized attractions around Central Avenue, attracting more businesses and more people.  While those who live close enough to the METRO may benefit from it’s presence in Phoenix, those who don’t have the luxury of taking public transportation still need to find parking in Central Avenue Phoenix.  Thankfully, ParkingSpotter.com is here.
